双碇創辦初期為製鞋業，以生產OEM橡膠拖鞋和橡膠大底、鞋材零部件、PVC鞋跟...等為主要產業，逐漸達成防滑、防水、防油、耐穿、耐熱變、耐化學性...等開發能力。
